Menopause Hub Academy and Great Place to Work are delighted to announce an exciting new category for our Menopause Workplace Excellence Awards - the Male Allyship Award.
All women will experience menopause, which is 50% of the population. And the other 50% may be impacted directly or indirectly. We also know that up to 10% of menopausal women leave work due to their symptoms and that over one third consider leaving their job due to symptoms. Menopause cannot therefore only be a women's issue and a women's conversation, we need to engage men too, personally and professionally.
This new Male Allyship Award recognises those men who are actively and visibly championing menopause in their workplace.

Menopause Hub Academy and Great Place to Work want every woman that experiences menopause in the workplace to feel comfortable and supported by their colleagues, managers, supervisors and HR.
We want managers and supervisors to be confident and informed in having sensitive menopause discussions with their team. And we want colleagues to feel knowledgeable and empathetic to those impacted by menopause in their workplace. Finally we want every workplace to appoint Menopause Champions and to introduce a menopause policy.
